Hilo Club Recognizes Oscar Panem

Hilo Y’s Men & Women’s Club honored Oscar Panem, a dedicated club member for 32 years, at their “Golden Book” Endowment Dinner.  The “Golden Book” records for posterity the “Golden Deeds” of Y’s Men. One of his major contributions to the club is working together with his family members and coworkers to help to set-up and break down the club’s annual Christmas tree lot. Presentation of this recognition was made by Club President Patricia Dunn and CEO of The Island of Hawaii YMCA & club member Wendy Botelho.
