On January 27 the YMCA kicked off its 2018 Annual Campaign at a branch for volunteer fund raiders at the Honolulu Country Club. The plan is to raise $1 million, most of which will go towards financial help at the nine Oahu branches for those who need the Y but cannot afford it. Among the 225 people at the kickoff were members of the Y Service Clubs in Honolulu. That organization raises a substantial portion of the annual campaign donations as part of our service to the YMCA.
