The Windward YMCA held a traditional blessing of its extensively renovated swimming pool on January 5, 2018. Much of the ceremony was a remembrance of Sue Wild, the benefactor who made the work possible. Sue, a strong supporter of the Y and a leader in water aerobics and other exercises for seniors, died December 12, 2017, so didn’t see her great work finished.
